N Scale BLI Replacement Steps with Short Integral Coupler Mount

NOTE: this set of N Scale BLI replacement steps w/integrated coupler pocket will only allow the cars to operate on 16" track radii or more.

This 4 pack set of steps with integrated coupler pockets (enough for two cars) is designed to minimize the gap between the cars and provide reliable coupling. The set is designed to accept Micro-Trains 2004 couplers and will complete two cars. Thread the mounting hole with a 00-90 tap before removing from the sprue. The coupler assembly will snap into the pocket from the bottom and place the coupler at the correct coupler height from the rails.

Disassembly of the BLI car's OEM coupler system , step castings, brake plumbing casting, and cutting out the original center coupler guide are required to install these into each car.
