N Scale PRR K4 #1188 Skyline Cover for Minitrix K4 Boiler Shell

Designed to be sanded, painted and dropped onto the Minitrix K4 boiler shell for a unique look. Just remove the valve turret in front of the cab, safety valve on top of the Belpaire, sand dome, and steam generator by shaving the casting smooth. Shave the boiler bands off the shell where the Skyline overlaps them for a smooth fit to the shell. Remove the whistle and bell and pull out the headlight from the shell. Remove the headlight printing from under the cover and snip off as much of the remaining pin as you can from the bottom of the headlight bracket. The cover has has printed holes in the sides for a 0.010" diameter bent wire grab. Mount the cover over the smokestack and steam dome, and add wire for sand tubes into the two pockets on the cover where the sand dome doors are. Paint the light housing inside with silver paint, light the headlight as you see fit and paint the shell.
